One Jacket That Works From Cold Mornings to Mild Afternoons

Stop choosing between a coat that's too warm and a cardigan that's too thin. The Marceline overshirt has a soft, fluffy lining that keeps you warm on the walk out the door, then stays light enough to wear all day long.

Why Marceline?

 • Cold mornings, warm afternoons: A soft, fluffy lining traps warmth as soon as you put it on, giving you coat-level comfort without the bulk. The hood is lined too, for windy days.

 • Feeling boxed in: The relaxed cut layers easily over a t-shirt or thin sweater. Shoulders stay soft and arms move freely, with nothing tight at the waist.

 • Cheap, sloppy details: Snap buttons down the front, a drawstring hood, and clean cuffs are all finished with care. Chest pockets keep your hands warm when the wind picks up.

 • Style that only works all season: Worn open over a light top, it replaces a spring or fall jacket. Zipped up under a scarf, it holds up on gray winter days.

Loved by our customers

Loved by our customers

I usually order two sizes because I never know what I'm going to get. One style runs small, another runs true to size, even within the same brand. At Hammonds, the size chart actually matched what arrived. I didn't have to return a thing. That alone saved me so much hassle.

— Michelle R. Chicago, IL

Loved by our customers

I've gotten used to holding tops up to the light before buying, just to check if they're see-through. I didn't have to do that with this one. The fabric feels substantial, not paper-thin, and after several washes it still looks the same. That might sound like a small thing, but after years of disappointment, This is my second time coming back to Hammonds.

— Karen D. Naples, FL

Loved by our customers

I was looking for something that felt well put-together without being too formal or old-fashioned. Hammonds was exactly what I had in mind. The fit is comfortable, the quality feels great, and I can wear it without feeling overdressed. It’s refreshing to find a brand that understands men my age still want to look modern and well-dressed.

— Brian L. New York, NY

Loved by our customers

This is my second order and i'm just as impressed as the first time. The dresses feel premium, fit beautifully, and hold their shape all day. Hammonds really delivers on quality.

— Rebecca H. Boston, MA

Loved by our customers

So many brands clearly design for 25-year-olds and just size it up. Hammonds felt like someone actually thought about us. The length is right, the neckline is tasteful, the fabric moves with you instead of against you. At my age, I really appreciate that.

— Daniel K. Austin, TX
